This summer, CY Carbide proudly concluded the 10th edition of our Employee Children’s Summer Camp, a milestone that reflects our long-term commitment to family-friendly values and employee well-being. Over the past 10 years, the programme has welcomed more than 600 children, becoming one of the most meaningful traditions in our company culture.
From its early beginnings to the well-structured event it is today, the summer camp has grown into more than just a seasonal activity. It is a celebration of our employees, their families, and the values we share.
This year’s camp, held over 15 days, was themed around exploration, collaboration, and growth. Children participated in science workshops, creative arts, team games, safety awareness sessions, and more. Whether building model volcanoes, painting group murals, or learning how to express their emotions, participants engaged in hands-on experiences designed to promote curiosity, confidence, and teamwork.
For many, this was their first chance to explore a structured, social learning environment connected to their parent’s workplace, a unique opportunity to bridge home and work in a fun, positive way.

The summer camp offers a safe, enriching solution during school holidays and gives parents peace of mind during working hours. It’s one of many ways we aim to create a truly inclusive, family- friendly workplace.
From its beginnings with a handful of participants to today’s comprehensive, multi-disciplinary format, the summer camp has continued to evolve. This year, new additions like emotional expression workshops and Coding for Kids activities brought new dimensions to the programme.
Company leadership also attended both the opening and closing ceremonies, encouraging children to grow, explore, and share in the success of their families. These moments of connection demonstrate our belief in leading with sincerity and in showing the next generation what care and responsibility look like.
Our care for employee families doesn’t stop when summer ends. Since 2016, CY Carbide has awarded over 320,000 RMB in scholarships to employees’ children who have gained admission to university. This long-running initiative ensures we’re supporting educational growth at every stage, from early childhood all the way through to higher education.
From early learning to university degrees, CY Carbide is proud to support the full journey of our employees’ families.
As we close this chapter on our 10th summer camp, we want to extend heartfelt thanks to every organiser, parent, teacher, child and their parents who made it possible. Their joy, creativity, and trust are what make this tradition worth continuing.
