At JIMTOF, we will present tungsten carbide material solutions for a range of precision manufacturing applications, including carbide rods, custom preforms, die and mold preforms, and wear-resistant components. From standard rods to custom preforms made to customer drawings, our products serve precision cutting, die and mold making, and other applications. We offer both standard materials and customized products to better match manufacturers’ needs.

In 2019, CY Carbide established a subsidiary in Osaka, Japan, marking the beginning of our local presence. We built a local business team from the ground up, continued learning about Japanese manufacturing standards, and listened closely to end users’ machining needs. Over time, we developed an operating model tailored to the Japanese market, evolving from product exports to an established local brand presence.
We keep a range of specifications in stock to shorten lead times. Our local team works directly with customers and responds quickly to requests for grade selection, trial samples, and bulk-order quotations. This reduces cross-regional communication and helps maintain a stable supply chain.

In its early years, CY Carbide worked closely with a team of experienced Japanese cemented carbide engineers, benchmarking our processes and quality-control systems against international best practices. With more than 20 years of experience in cemented carbide R&D and manufacturing, we balance hardness, wear resistance, and toughness while maintaining consistent quality from batch to batch to meet the high standards of precision manufacturing.
Through years of exhibition exchanges and the development of a comprehensive local service system, CY Carbide has continued to grow alongside its customers.
In July 2026, CY Carbide was listed on the Beijing Stock Exchange (stock code: 920238), marking an important milestone in our development. Increased R&D investment, expanded production capacity, and enhanced quality-control capabilities further strengthen our ability to supply Japanese customers reliably over the long term.
Building on this new starting point, we will draw on our R&D and manufacturing capabilities and local service network to provide reliable hard-material solutions for Japan’s precision manufacturing sector.
